Kids have the most creative minds. Give them a pen or pencil and they can design the most fearsome/ridiculous/funniest/scariest monsters in less time than a normal adult would. Professional artists (illustrators, graphic designers, cartoonist, etc.) recreate monsters from kids’ drawings. Got all these images from DrawingHand. Click the website to see more.

In honour of my birthday, which happened yesterday May 30th, I will post a series of blogs related to birthday. so far I have three ideas in mind, but maybe I’ll have more ideas. So today, tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, you might see birthday related posts.

My first one is about Birthday Cakes. Because no birthday is complete without birthday cake. In my case I didn’t get a birthday cake because no one cared to make one for me. But maybe I’ll make one for myself. Here’s a compilation of cakes I would have liked to have.

I think I could go on forever, but I’m going to stop myself right here. Which one(s) do you like best?

I saw this in my Yahoo news feed and thought I should share. Yeah, it’s great when you find balloon artists who can make you a hat, a cat, or rabbit. But having a balloon artist making these, now that’s impressive! Larry Moss and Kelly Cheatle of Airigami recreate famous painting and other things with balloons. I must say, Very Creative! Click on the link above to see more.

I was at the bookstore yesterday and I saw this book called “Funny Food” by Bill and Claire Wurtzel. It contains pages and pages of creative things you can do with you breakfast food: fruits, veggies, eggs, waffles, etc. Take a look! Impressive!
