Where quirky and creative collide

Category Archives: Uncategorized

Last month Art House Co-op asked people to draw the body of a monster from four guiding lines (two on top, two at bottom) and string them together to create an infinite scroll of a monster. Here is the result including mine!

As a Halloween day treat, here’s the cutest two Halloween dress ups for kids. Pick who’s the cutest. But if it was up to me, it’s a very hard decision.

Happy Fathers’ Day to those that are applicable. Doesn’t necessarily be a father, can be a step-dad, uncle, grandpa, or any fatherly figure. In honour of Fathers’ Day, here’s a nice story about a dad and a son, and how the son has to recur to creative ways to help his dad from afar.

I know I am older, but themed parties will Never get old! I wish I had one of these themed birthday parties. Here are some themes and ideas. I got the images from many sources. I don’t want to list them all, but I found all of them on Google Search. Sorry if your picture didn’t get credited =(

1. Alice in Wonderland, my favourite

2. Casino Night

3. Carnival / Circus

4. Hawaiian Luau / Beach / Island

5. Pirate

6.  Western / Cowboy

7. Princess

1. Go to Google.com

2. Search for “zerg rush”

3. Battle away!

This is for all Harry Potter fans. It’s long overdue, but everybody can finally access Pottermore! Including me! It’s awesome and I have spent lots of time in it already. Consider myself addicted to it already. For those who are not familiar with Pottermore, it’s a website developed by Sony and J.K. Rowling where the Harry Potter story becomes interactive. Every chapter has two or three pages where users can click places and collect objects, make potions, challenge friends on a duel, get sorted by the Sorting Hat, etc! I can officially say that I am Slytherin. To be honest I always saw myself more as a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, but I guess it’s okay. The reason why this is in my blog it’s because it’s creative! Even though creativity is somewhat limited, it’s just amazing how the author comes up with all these details: names, potions, courses, how someone looks or how something looks, places, etc.

It’s now open to public, so if you don’t have an account yet, make one!

In another note, if you like Alice in Wonderland and other fairy tales, there is a show on ABC called Once Upon a Time and they take on popular fairy tales and create twists to them. I love it! Totally recommend it to you. Take a look at some trailers!
